Tidal Meridian
Blue & Gold Abstract — Ocean Collection
Price varies by size and framing.
Deep navy pulling into cobalt, then breaking open into veins of burnished gold. The palette knife work is deliberate — thick ridges where the paint was dragged across wet pigment, thin valleys where the dark canvas shows through like the bottom of the sea at low tide.
This is a painting that changes depending on when you look at it. Morning light sharpens the blues and quiets the gold. Evening lamplight reverses it — the gold warms, the blues deepen, and the whole surface seems to shift forward. It is not the same painting at noon and midnight, and that is the point.
Hand-finished on premium cotton canvas with professional-grade acrylic paint. The impasto texture is substantial enough to cast its own shadows — you will feel the surface when you run your hand across it.
This painting doesn’t exist yet.
When you choose Tidal Meridian, we paint it for you. By hand, on real canvas, with the same thick impasto brushwork you see in these photographs.
Before it ships, we photograph the finished painting in our studio and send you the image. You check the colour, the texture, the scale. If you love it — and in six thousand paintings, people almost always love it — you approve, and we ship.
If something isn’t right, we make it right. The preview exists so you never have to wonder.

Choose the size that fits the wall, not just the space.
Intimate. A quiet accent.
Sizing guidance
Cut a piece of newspaper or paper to the size you’re considering. Tape it to the wall. Live with it for a day. You’ll know immediately if it’s right.
The painting should be roughly two-thirds the width of the sofa. This is not a rule — it is a starting point that almost always works.
Match the headboard width, or go slightly narrower. Centred. The painting and the bed should feel like they belong together.
Go taller than you think. Hallways are narrow, so vertical impact matters more than horizontal spread.
Email us a photo of the wall with a rough measurement. We’ll tell you which size we’d choose, and why.
How would you like it finished?
Stretched over a deep wooden frame with painted edges. Ready to hang the moment you unwrap it. No frame needed — the canvas is the frame. This is how we’d hang it.
